Responsibilities

· Responsible for ensuring all safety procedures and policies are followed/enforced with peers and customers.
· Using proven techniques identifies and analyzes opportunities to improve the operation to attain a competitive advantage in the market.
· Maintains end-of-day reports, invoicing, purchase requisitions, GR, PGI, liaising with A/P and other functions to ensure cash flow maintained and invoices/bills are paid in a timely fashion.
· Develops operating plans to pro-actively prepare for future demands based on analysis of current and past results. Implements new plan or makes adjustments to current plans, as the market competition, customer need dictates as well as resources availability (i.e. drivers/vehicles/products).
· Prepares routes and distribution plans (customer and inter-branch) to comply with delivery of product to customers.

·         Assists supervisor in managing drivers, by keeping records of drivers’ performance, regulatory documentation, vehicle maintenance, inform of drive cam events, vehicle inspections, and overall safety of distribution operations.
·Maintains strong customer service focus which includes developing and monitoring distribution schedules to ensure customers are served in a timely manner.

. Coordinates with Production delivery requirements to comply with daily customer orders and inter branch as well as special needs and/or emergencies.
· Actively participates in Operations coordination meetings to align distribution resources in support and compliance of customer orders and inter branch stock replenishment.

. Maintains hardware inventory and places orders in a timely manner to prevent material stock out.

. Provides input for the establishment and enforcement of challenging and attainable KPI’s

. Serves as Import/Export Specialist back up during short absences

· Maintains professional growth by participating on teams and in educational programs and activities to maintain knowledge of national trends and to promote leading-edge expertise within the center.
· Motivates and encourages employees to embrace productivity initiatives

Qualifications

· Hazardous Materials certification

. Excellent organizing and planning skills

. Excellent communicator

. Quick and logical thinker

· Detail oriented

. Bilingual (Spanish/English)

· Self starter
· Able to prioritize and manage in a crisis
· Ensures that specific federal, state and local employment qualifications are met.
· Excellent computer skills with experience in MS Office Tools and SAP required
