Sr. Analyst – Fixed Assets & Compliance

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


Fixed Asset Management

  • Manage and execute review of Fixed Asset Register monthly capitalizations and changes to ensure compliance with standard Asset Data Capture requirements. Submit Asset Data correction requests as applicable.
  • Review CIP Report to monitor capitalization/closure of Capital Orders.
  • Schedule and lead recurring review meetings with Project Managers and Business Controlling Teams to identify Capital Projects for Capitalization and or Closure.
  • Monitor and review SAP Asset Capitalizations and Sub-Ledger activities performed by Off-Shore Shared Service Center (SSC) Fixed Asset Team
  • Monitor completion and storage of CAP-CLOSURE Templates by the Off-Shore SSC Fixed Asset Team.
  • Lead monthly meeting with Off-Shore SSC Fixed Asset Team on activities/issue resolution
  • Escalation support for issues raised by the Off-Shore SSC Fixed Asset Team
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Aids.
  • Manage Fixed Asset Intranet Site Data.

Physical Asset Verification

  • Manage the Physical Asset Verification Plant Location Contact List and administer all tracking responsibilities to ensure compliance with Policies.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Aids.
  • Lead the Annual Physical Asset Verification activities,
  • Foster cross-functional relationships with the Operations Teams to facilitate support and successful completion of Physical Asset Verification and timely update of the Fixed Asset Subledger.
  • Prepare and issue Physical Asset Verification Templates and Instructions
  • Validate accuracy and perform quality check of completed Physical Asset Verification Templates received.
  • Prepare and submit Summary Asset Write-Off/Change Files to the Controller and CFO for final review and approval


Assist with requests and support Internal and External Audit Reviews.

Support Adhoc reporting and analysis and other activities as defined by Manager

Support Cash Accounting activities for US Entities as required



  • Manage duties and responsibilities to ensure optimum work processes are followed
  • Create a positive relationship with Off-Shore Teams and key Stakeholders
  • Maintain cross-functional communication and collaboration with other Functions
  • Influence up / down stream processes with Leaders, Peers, and other Functions
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

Minimum Requirements

  • 5 – 10 years’ Fixed Asset accounting experience and in roles fostering compliance, work process documentation and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of Fixed Asset Management and corresponding SAP transactions.
  • Experience working with Offshore Teams responsible for performing SAP transaction processing and Sub-Ledger reporting.
  • Prior contract administration and compliance experience.
  • Familiarity with SOX compliance and governance controls.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills to communicate with a wide range of audiences.
  • Problem solving through to resolution and communication of status and solution.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize workload with minimum supervision.
  • Detail oriented and comfortable working with ambiguity
  • Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge of Excel being critical
  • Familiarity with Visio
  • System and business process integration experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS Accounting
  • Experience with Fixed Asset Accounting
  • Knowledge of SOX Controls and requirements  
  • Contract administration and compliance experience is a plus.
  • SAP Knowledge on running Reports and Excel Data Downloads
  • Visio utilization and exposure Advance Excel User
